When you're considered for a Core Team placement, facilities receive a tailored profile that includes:

• Your job history & work experience 
• Copies of professional licenses or certifications (CNA, RN, HHA, etc.) 
• Skillsets and specialties 
• Any preferences or facility types you enjoy 
• A brief introduction about you (optional, but a nice touch!) 

This gives the facility a chance to get to know you — not just your job title.

**📝 You're an Independent Contractor (1099)**

At Phoenix Staffing Solutions, you are considered a 1099 independent contractor — not an employee.

This means:

• ✅You control your own schedule. 
• ✅You choose where and when you want to work. 
• ✅You have the freedom to accept or decline any shift. 
• ✅You keep more flexibility and autonomy. 

As a contractor:

• You are responsible for reporting your own income for tax purposes. 
• You may choose to carry your own liability or occupational insurance      (recommended for some roles). 
• You’re in business for yourself — but never by yourself. We’re here      to help you grow!
• Make sure you have read and understand the Contractor Code of Conduct under the tab "Contractor Information". If you have read and understand it, please type yes in the contractor code of conduct on the contract intake sheet of this page.
